Frieden, MD, MPH, Commissioner, New York City Dept. of Health and Mental Hygiene, "Take Care New York: Acheiving New York City’s Health Potential."

Please join us in welcoming a new generation of researchers as the
Academy’s medical and dental student grant recipients present their
award-winning projects.
We are honored to have as this year’s guest speaker Dr. Thomas R.
Frieden, whose keynote address “Take Care New York: Achieving New York City’s
Health Potential” will be followed by student presentations of projects funded
by the Academy’s student research grant programs. Through these programs, the Academy seeks to
enrich the educational experience by supporting exceptional students through
mentored summer research projects.
